Location
Los Domos Project with more than 37.000 has. is located at northeast of Santa Cruz Province, in the Deseado Massif, in a very prospective area for disseminated Au mineralization "Bulk tonnage type"; into the knowed "Las Calandrias district“.
In “Los Domos Project” the main target called “La Punta” is located just 9 km North of Las Calandrias Project (0,52Moz Au equiv – Cerrado Gold); 10 km north of Escondido Project (Cerrado Gold) and 8 km West of Falcon project (Yamana Gold).
Between 2016 and 2018 the “New Peak Metals” company (ex “Dark Horse Resources”) explored the project. They only worked on the main target called "La Punta" and its sorrounding, where outcrops altered rhyolitic domes with Au and Ag mineralized structures with better results 5,7 g/t Au and 35 ppm Ag in vein/Breccia structure, coincidence with a large IP chargeability anomaly.
“New Peak Metals” carried out: detailed geological mappings, geochemical samplings, Lag grid, trenches, etc.
The geological, geochemical and geophysical signatures of “La Punta prospect” into Los Domos project are very similar to “Calandria Sur target” of Las Calandrias Project. They display altered and mineralized rhyolitic domes, with Au-Ag mineralized structures (veins and breccias), Au anomalies on Lag and Rock chip sampling and solid chargeability anomalies.
